About the role
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for the role of Manager HR Project Advisory, Copper Material Handling (CMH).
The role reports to the Head of HR Consulting Americas and will be based in Santiago. The role will also be part of the CMH program leadership team.
As the Manager HR Project Advisory, CMH, you will lead a team of HR professionals to provide strategic guidance and delivery on the HR services required to support the operational readiness for various projects within the Copper Material Handling program. The role will also support the execution of change management across the Operational sites in the region.
Your key accountabilities include:
• Provide single point of accountability for HR service delivery to the support CMH program, drive scoping and quality assurance of the work.
• Provide a single point of contact for the Program Director and CMH core project team for all HR issues.
• Allocate, track and report on HR programs and deliverables.
• Works with the Project team to set the change management strategy as it impact’s people and plan for CMH program and sub-programs.
• Support with change management activities in the operations related to Material Handling projects, including developing change management materials to facilitate the programs transition into operations.
• Work across HR Project Advisory and broader HR to drive an integrated delivery across projects and seek opportunities to enable synergies and a common approach.
• Build a One HR culture, while driving results for customers.
About You
You will be a proactive and high-performing individual with strong project management and execution skills, that effectively sets the direction and context for your team driving accountability for objectives, while also ensuring integration in planning and execution across functional boundaries. You will also be able to effectively engage with your stakeholders and drive alignment how best to deliver on the project’s priorities demonstrating strong influencing skills and taking action to persuade and adapt your engagement approach in order to achieved the desired outcome.

Pivotal experience for the role includes:
• 7 years plus experience in HR organisations and Organisational Change Management, ideally with experience supporting major projects and/or business initiatives
• Expertise across the full spectrum of HR activity including performance, talent, culture and foundational HR processes
• Extensive experience engaging with senior level stakeholders
• Understanding and experience with delivering frontline change management
• Experience leading effective and efficient teams to deliver consistently high quality outcomes for their customers.
• Mining or other relevant industry experience
• Design Thinking and storytelling skills
• Excellent writing and communications skills
• Ideally experience in or knowledge of Agile methodologies
